Our paper “Exploring People’s Attitudes and Behaviors toward Careful Information Seeking in Web Search” by me, Prof. Yusuke Yamamoto at Shizuoka University, and Sumio Fujita at Yahoo Japan Corporation, accepted as a full paper at CIKM2018.
This paper investigates how people carefully search for the Web to obtain credible and accurate information. The goal of this study is to better understand people’s attitudes toward careful information seeking via Web search, and the relationship between such attitudes and their daily search behaviors.
